Ô RÔ CAVE – UNIQUE - STUNNING AND OUTSTANDING VALUES 

• Located in the middle of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park which is the part of UNESCO heritage, Ô Rô cave has recently discovered and introduced to travelers. With its outstanding and primitive values, Ô Rô Cave will surely satisfy all visitors who has a great sense of adventure.
• To explore Ô Rô Cave, you have a great chance to trek through the core of  typical tropical forest in Vietnam where you can find beautiful sceneries, water stream and many cliffs to enrich your trekking experiences.
• Ô Rô cave is about 3 km long and its entrance is about 3 - 4m high. Inside the cave, there are many stunning stalactites, stalagmites and columns which keep connecting to the skylight of the primeval forest outside.
• The further you go inside, the more beautiful you indulge in smooth sandy stream, and the dense system of stalactites appeared can be compared to terraced fields or giant pumpkins mixed with water drops murmuring on the ceiling of the cave. All seem to hold you back and drop your soul into this poetic scene. A feeling like being lost in another world.
• The end of cave exploration is our peaceful camp site. The outdoor food venture with local BBQ is also the highlight of this odyssey. 

​HOÀN MỸ CAVE - A PERFECT MASTERPIECE GIVEN BY MOTHER NATURE

• Hoan My Cave belongs to the Phong Nha Ke Bang heritage complex, about 30 kms from Đoàn Gia boutique resort. It is a masterpiece of mother nature, Hoàn Mỹ means “perfectly beautiful” because the cave has the most unique and magnificent stalactite and stalagmite system in Quang Binh – the kingdom of caves in Viet Nam.
• This masterpiece of nature was discovered when a local forester stumbled on the entrance, which at that time was just a hole in the rock, hidden behind the foliage of the primeval forest. Soon after, the British Cave Research Association explored the inner side of the cave and was overwhelmed by its grandeur and beauty.
• Walking to the small cave doorway, you will be completely amazed with countless stalactites of all shapes and forms such as images of  Buddha, houses, waterfalls, etc., Hoan My Cave is really an hidden gem for “Cave lovers” and should not be missed. 

TOUR BRIEF:

• Pacing:  2 days- 1 night ( overnight in our Camp site )
• Departure: Group tour departs weekly.
• Private tour can be customizedly departs daily based on your request ( only 1 night  or private trip is available)
• Group size: 16 people maximum ( minimum  04 traveler )
• Distance and Pacing : 06 km of trekking, 3 km of visiting  inside the wet cave including 1km of  swimming ,100m elevation gain, 10 m ladder climb.
• Challenging level: moderate trekking - very rocky terrain.Itinerary (below) is subject to change with the weather. Paths can be slippery and muddy after rain.

SAFETY PROTOCOLS:

1.     Our tours run only in the dry season when flooding is not considered a great risk We don’t operate during the rainy season between mid-September and early November.

2.     If an unusual forecast such as a tropical storm is expected, we change the tour itinerary to ensure safety.

3.     Our tour is run by experienced guides and caving experts who are trained in safety.

4.     All high-water level rivers are using safety ropes to ensure safe crossings. All guides and customers use a life jacket in these situations. All guides are trained in river crossing techniques and river rescue.

5.     Only quality equipment imported from Europe is used. This includes caving helmets, lights, harnesses, ropes, floating ropes, throw bags etc. Full instructions are always provided, and guests are supported at all times by the safety team.

6.     The number of traveler per tour is strictly controlled and supported by an appropriate number of guides and safety assistants.

7.     Our tour must follow the safety rules and guidelines.

 DAY 1: ORO WET CAVE ADVENTURE ( 3 kms of trekking in moderate level & 3 km inside the wet cave) 

8:00 am: Meet and greet at our Đoàn Gia Boutique Resort.

8:00 am - 8:30 am: Safety Briefing Receiving jungle facilities from our Experience Cave Guide.

Departing for  Phong Nha Tropical Forest via Ho Chi Minh Trail West to explore Ô Rô Cave.

9:30am: Get ready for 3 km trekking on the uneven trail, rocky moutain. ( 1,5 hour trekking).

10:30am – 13:00am: Get into the Wet Cave Ô Rô, exploring 2 hour trekking and wading inside the very beautiful and stunning cave.

13:30 pm -14:30 pm: Picnic lunch will be prepared by our chefs and porters.

Freedom of choice: relaxing on the hammock or swimming at our  peaceful camp site.

18:00 pm: BBQ dinner  and Camp fire.Overnight at our Camp site. 

DAY 2: HOAN MY CAVE ADVENTURE ( 05 kms of trekking at moderate level )

• 6:00 – 7:30: In the early morning, enjoying  local  breafast with tea & coffee. 
• 7:30:  Getting ready for trekking back to the Trekking Check point and getting on our jungle van for traveling  to Hoan My Cave.
• 8:30 – 12:00: Trekking to explore Hoan My Cave.
• 12:30 pm : Enjoying picnic lunch prepared by our chefs and porters.
• 13:00 pm : Trekking back to the station check point  and traveling back to Doan Gia boutique resort.
• 14:00 pm: Your choice of overnight at our  Đoàn Gia Boutique Resort or Airport Transfer. ( this over night is not included )
• End of Adventure and Farewell.
